Before starting any project, we meet with you to discuss your project goals and how we can help you achieve them. You’ll be involved in the design process as much as you like; we’ll keep you updated and informed of all design decisions. Once construction begins, our experience and expertise are available to you and the contractor. We do our part ensure the design is executed as approved and provide engineering support through the construction phase.
Bio
RHYTHM’s founder and principal engineer, Chase, has nearly 15 years of experience working for various small, medium and large engineering firms. He holds two degrees from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo: a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s degree in Architecture specializing in Structures. He is licensed in California as a Professional Civil Engineer and a Structural Engineer.
With a broad range of experience across several market sectors and working at all scales, Chase brings a dedication to elegant and collaborative solutions to each one of his projects. His combined background in structural engineering and architecture drives his passion to create positive outcomes for clients through designs that are well-coordinated, high-quality, and value-driven. Chase is a versatile structural engineer who enjoys tackling challenges big and small with pragmatic solutions and a positive attitude; he welcomes any opportunity to be a problem-solver. He brings an invaluable attention to detail and an ability to produce designs which are both technically sound and constructable.
Chase has knowledge of many different structural types, having worked on a variety of projects ranging from small sculptures to stadiums and everything in between. He loves to sketch ideas by hand and break down complex engineering problems into simple terms, emphasizing engagement with design teams, clients, and stakeholders at every stage of a project.
